Privacy policy

Train Yourself (trainyourself.org) is a trading name of Combine TRS Pty Limited (ABN 42 112 983 678), the parent company. We're committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information, and we aim to handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Collection of personal information

Our free chat courses run in your browser and save your progress there (in local storage). They don't send your answers to us. We collect personal information when you contact us and, once these features open, when you join the waitlist, register for an account or buy a course. The information may include your name, email address, phone number and anything else you choose to give us.

Use of personal information

We use it to provide the services you ask for, communicate with you about your account, improve our website and courses, and, only if you have opted in, send you marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Disclosure of personal information

We won't sell your personal information or disclose it to third parties without your consent, except to service providers who help us run the site (such as hosting and, later, payment processing) or where the law requires it.

Security of personal information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and firewalls.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us.

Cookies

This site doesn't currently set marketing or analytics cookies. If we add any later, we'll update this policy first. Free courses use your browser's local storage only to remember your progress, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll post changes on this page and, if you have an account with us, tell you about material changes by email.
